MERN Stack Developer

Overview

Attors Technologies is hiring a MERN Stack Developer to build custom web applications, client portals, dashboards and API integrations for businesses in the United States, the United Kingdom and Europe. You will work across the full stack, from data models and REST APIs to responsive React interfaces, as part of a small engineering team that owns its projects end to end.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain full-stack features with MongoDB, Express.js, React and Node.js, including authentication, roles and permissions.
• Design REST APIs and data models that are secure, documented and straightforward to extend.
• Develop responsive, accessible React interfaces from Figma designs, with reusable components and predictable state management.
• Integrate third-party services such as Stripe, CRMs, email platforms and external APIs, including webhooks.
• Build Next.js front ends for headless CMS and e-commerce projects where server rendering and SEO matter.
• Write unit and integration tests, take part in code review and keep pull requests small and well described.
• Deploy and monitor applications on cloud hosting, and troubleshoot production issues methodically.

Requirements

• 2 to 4 years of professional experience building production applications with React and Node.js.
• Strong JavaScript (ES6+) and working knowledge of TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB and Mongoose, including schema design, indexing and aggregation.
• Experience with Express.js, REST API design, JWT or session-based authentication and input validation.
• Solid understanding of React hooks, component architecture and state management such as Redux Toolkit, Zustand or React Query.
• Comfortable with Git, pull-request workflows and code review.
• Clear written English for documentation and communication with an international team.

Nice to have

• Experience with Next.js (App Router), server components or headless CMS integrations.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL, Redis or message queues.
• Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines or cloud platforms such as AWS, Vercel or DigitalOcean.
• Experience writing automated tests with Jest, React Testing Library or Playwright.
