Overview

Attors Technologies is hiring a Junior WordPress Developer to build and maintain WordPress and WooCommerce websites for clients in the United States, the United Kingdom and Europe. You will turn approved designs into responsive pages, handle updates and fixes on live websites, and grow your skills alongside senior developers who review your work.

Key responsibilities

  • Build responsive pages and templates in WordPress from Figma designs using Gutenberg blocks, custom fields and child themes.
  • Configure and customise WooCommerce stores, including products, payments, shipping and checkout settings.
  • Carry out plugin, theme and core updates on client websites, test them on staging and resolve conflicts.
  • Fix layout, compatibility and functionality issues reported by clients or the QA team.
  • Apply on-page SEO basics, image optimisation and accessibility checks to the pages you build.
  • Keep clear notes on the work you complete and follow the team’s coding and handover standards.

Requirements

  • Around 1 year of practical experience building WordPress websites professionally or as a freelancer.
  • Good working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and basic PHP.
  • Experience with the block editor, page templates and common plugins such as ACF, Yoast or Rank Math.
  • Familiarity with WooCommerce setup and configuration.
  • Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser testing.
  • Basic knowledge of Git and of working with staging and live environments.
  • Good written English and a willingness to learn from code review.

Nice to have

  • Experience building a custom theme or custom Gutenberg block.
  • Familiarity with Elementor-to-Gutenberg migrations or website speed optimisation.
  • A small portfolio of WordPress websites you have built.

What we offer

  • Work on live websites for clients across the United States, the United Kingdom and Europe.
  • Regular code review and mentoring from senior WordPress developers.
  • A structured delivery process with written scopes and clear ownership of your work.
  • A clear path towards mid-level and senior WordPress development roles.
  • A full-time, on-site role at our office in Gujrat with the equipment and tools you need.
